After a period of transition and challenges, Literacy Alberni is proud to be back and serving our community again.
With a completely new board of directors (including some familiar faces), we’re focused on rebuilding. While we can’t undo past harm, we’re committed to doing things differently moving forward, and that work has already begun.
We’ve restarted in-person programming with an English language class, and we continue to offer one-on-one English tutoring, along with some employment and settlement support services. More programs are on the way as we continue to recover.
Thank you to those who have supported us, asked questions, and believed in what Literacy Alberni was always meant to be. We’re ready to move forward with clarity, integrity, and purpose.
