To our Literacy Alberni Family,
As many of you have already heard, there has been a confirmed COVID-19 case within one of our local schools. Local news coverage of this situation is available here.
We want to assure you that Literacy Alberni has not been contacted by Island Health as linked to this outbreak. However, due to the potential severity of this situation and our responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our team, and our community, we have made the decision to temporarily postpone our AGM which was scheduled for Thursday, October 8th, 2020.
Once we have more information about this outbreak and its spread in our community, our Board of Directors will set the new date for our AGM and we will provide you with the updated information as soon as it is available.
